Spanish in MalagaLocated on the Mediterranean coast, the so called Costa del Sol, Malaga is a cosmopolitan city and Spain's second largest harbour.
Malaga, conquered in 1487 by the Reyes Católicos (the Catholic Monarchs), the city became part of a united Spain, laying the foundations for the Golden Era of Spain. It has much to offer – theatres, cinemas, museums, a bullring and exciting nightlife.
The city owes its individuality and flair to the ancient eastern walls, and the cultural ”fingerprints” left behind by the Saracens and the Moors, who encouraged the establishment of many other religions.
The mild climate offers approximately 326 days of sun each year and beaches are just a short distance from the city. Andalusia conveys the impression of being always in full bloom!.
The area is ideally located for setting out on excursions, especially everywhere around the coastal region and the neighbouring Sierra Nevada (an excellent skiing area). |

We have discovered a very peaceful area called Pedregalejo on the edge of the city, an ideal place to live and learn. The nearby promenade is frequented by countless locals and offers bars and seafood restaurants.
The colourful lifestyle is present throughout the city, here the young Andalusians love to dance the night away, and you will find it pleasing to get to know them as they are curious to meet guests from all over the world. |
